In 1902, air conditioning was first developed for a New York printing house to stabilize temperature and humidity—essential for maintaining paper size and quality. Added to architecture, air conditioning reshaped how spaces are designed and inhabited, creating controlled environments that shield us from external climates.

However, this innovation also carries ambiguity: as a symbol of technological advancement and comfort, it contributes to ecological strain by encapsulating the tensions between technological solutions and their environmental impact.

air-condition.ing* reflects this duality, critically engaging with its historical, architectural, and ethical dimensions.
